All Saints Parish Vacation Bible School 2018

August 20th – August 24th, 9am – 12 noon

Going into K (Age 4/5) – Going into Grade 5 (9/10)

We are excited to invite your child(ren) to participate in this year’s program, Cat.Chat Vacation Bible School: A Radical Ride on the Wings of Prayer …with Amazing Angels & Super Saints.  It’s jam-packed with great songs, crafts and fun activities for kids ages 4-10, to help them grow in their Catholic faith. The overall goals of this week-long program are to help the children learn more about prayer and how to put it into action.

Registration deadline is July 20, 2018, or when we reach maximum numbers, whichever comes first.

VOLUNTEER INFORMATION:

This year we are changing it up a bit for the youth, your days will be a little longer but will include lunch and some faith formation at the end of the day. I think this is going to a great opportunity to build on the fantastic team we already have! All of the info is on the registration form. As a part of the Archdioceses mandate to protect us all, there are also some screening forms you will need to complete and return with your registration. This is very important  and you won’t be able to participate in VBS without these forms.

Please email me with any questions as there are lots of changes. Please forward the info to any of your friends who may be interested.

Thanks so much again for volunteering! We couldn’t do it without you!

In Christ

The QAS Playground Enhancement Project has been completed.  Phase 1 and Phase 2 have been installed by Habitat Systems Inc.  We would like to acknowledge and sincerely thank the City of Coquitlam’s Spirit Grant for their generous contribution of $9,270.00 that paid for phase 2 of our project.  With their support we have greatly improved our playground for our students and our local community.   The playground additions are a huge success as evidenced by the enthusiasm and constant use by the students!  Thank you City of Coquitlam!

Student Safety is a Goal and a Shared Responsibility

Please obey the traffic pattern protocols – “near misses” of accidents occur when rules are not followed.

Park and pick up your child in the back lot. Children cannot been seen by drivers. This area presents the greatest hazard especially during rainy days.

The front door is to be used for visitors and parents during school hours. Prior to 8:45am, all students should be entering the school from their classroom door or the rear east doors. Students entering the school after 8:50am may use the front doors, but will be considered late.

The front doors will remain locked during the day for safety reasons. A bell/buzzer system is in place so the office staff can allow entry.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding regarding student safety.
